The above photo was taken at the BAB2 which is a big shopping mall in Anglet where they have most everything you might need: Grocery, clothing, snacks, coffee, and it’s all dressed up for the holidays.
We’ve been here for three months. It feels like longer because so much has happened and we’ve crammed a lot more living into three months here than we normally did at home. It’s been an adjustment for us all in different ways, and we are proud of the kids for stepping up and being so brave and willing to try new things.
Today is the first day of our last month here in the Briscous house, which has been affectionately nicknamed “Olivier’s House” because it is Olivier who usually lives here. It’s a great house, and we love it. If it were closer to town, and about 3x less expensive we would probably stay longer. We’ll be moving into our apartment at the end of December, probably New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. In the meantime we’ll pay attention to being here, out in the country, cozy and content.
