To the beach: Les Bourdaines (sans Anthony)

This is what looks to be an abandoned community center in Seignosse, outside of the parking lot at the break called Les Bourdaines.  There’s some awesome graffiti art on the exterior.  It’s not abandoned.

The beach itself is lovely.  Today the waves were gentle, the ocean was salty and warm-ish, and we all swam together and played in the sun.  We found an umbrella, so I could stay at the beach for longer than an hour.  I happily read in the shade, as the kids and Bryan explored a nearby bay.

Was a beautiful Wednesday.

When they were small, I dreamed of the day I would be able to read at the beach again. That day is today.
