Alain Ducasse makes things difficult, what with his precise measurements: 6 1/4 oz of eggs; Bake at 392º. Quoi?!
I under-baked the cakes, #11a (larger) and #11b (smaller) so I tossed them in the trash this morning.
“Mama, why is the cake in the garbage?”
“I know honey. That just seems wrong, doesn’t it?”
I had a bunch of extra dough, so I refrigerated it overnight and am now baking up a small cake and some cake-lettes. We’ll see how I do with this batch.
Unfortunately can’t share this batch (#12, 12a,b,c,d,e…) with my sister/brother-in-law because Alain asks for almond powder in his. Oh la la.
